The Early Modern Empires Workshop will host Peter Wilson, Chichele Professor of the History of War at All Souls College, Oxford, on Tuesday, 28 March. We’ll be discussing Professor Wilson’s paper titled, “Was the Holy Roman Empire an Empire?” A copy of the paper is available for your perusal by writing russel.gasdia@yale.edu or tiraana.bains@yale.edu.
The workshop will meet at 11:30 am in Room 202 at Luce Hall (34 Hillhouse Avenue).
The workshop will be followed by a tea at 4 pm in Room 04 (Lower Level) at Rozenkranz Hall (115 Prospect Street). This tea will be a chance to talk informally with Professor Wilson about his career and scholarship.
