Join the Judaic Studies department for its Ancicent Judaism Workshops this semester:
On Sept. 21st, Julia Watts Belser (Associate Professor in the Department of Theology at Georgetown University) on “Materiality and Memory: Body, Blood and Land in Rabbinic Tales of Death and Dismemberment.”
On Nov. 30th, Judith Hauptman (The Jewish Theological Seminary) on “A Preliminary Investigation of Short (Overlooked) Halakhic Narratives in the Babylonian Talmud.”
All seminars will be held at 1:30 pm in WLH 309.
