The Classics Department would like to invite you to the first Yale Classics CERTAMEN, to be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9th, 2016, 5.30-7pm in Phelps 401. Certamen is a game of fast recall of facts about classical civilizations and its peoples, languages, and cultures. The matches are supposed to be fun, competitive, and informative. Teams are composed of up to four members and up to three teams compete in each round. A round contains 20 questions (with two boni each) that are taken from the following categories: Latin Language, Greek and Roman Mythology, Roman History and Culture.
Bring your competitive spirit for a certamen, and your appetite for BAR pizza!
