Please join us for our next Agrarian Studies colloquium this coming Friday, September 30. We will hear from Kathryn de Luna, an environmental historian at Georgetown. Her paper is titled, “Ideas on Fire: Metaphor and Technology in Central Africa, c.1000BC to AD1700.” Please note we will convene at 11am in ROOM 202 in Luce Hall (34 Hillhouse Ave) rather than our usual room 203. Lunch will follow as usual at 1pm.
