The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations presents Stephanie Dalley (Oxford) as the 2016 Rosenthal Lecturer.  Professor Dalley will give a lecture entitled “Some Temple Facades of the Old Babylonian Period Imitating a Palm-Grove and the Palm Motif as a Symbol of Victory” on April 7th at 4:30 pm in HGS 211.  This special seminar for graduate students is sponsored by NELC and the K.W. and E.K. Rosenthal Memorial Lectures in Ancient and Near Eastern Civilization.
