Inevitability of the Book

This symposium sponsored by the Yale Program in the History of the Book will feature a lecture by Professor Joseph Howley (Classics, Columbia University) on “Inheritance, Innovation, or Inevitability? The Ancient Table of Contents at the Dawn of Print” on Friday, September 9th at 5 pm. A symposium panel will follow on Saturday, September 10th from 10 to 5 pm.
